Application
Finishing Unfinished Interior Wood:
1. Prepare surface per label instructions.
2. Apply first coat with long, smooth strokes or spray application in the direction of the wood grain. For wood floor applications, use a good quality bristle brush or lambs wool floor finish applicator pad.
3. Let dry for 3-4 hours. Do not reapply until completely dry.
4. Sand smooth, remove dust.
5. Apply 3 coats of interior Polyurethane, more where wear is severe. Allow 3-4 hours dry time between coats, longer if cool or humid. Do not reapply until completely dry. Sand lightly between coats using 220 grit sandpaper. Allow final coat to dry for at least 24 hours.
6. Sand and repeat when first sign of deterioration appear.
7. Use paint thinner (mineral spirits) to clean up.
8. Two coats are recommended when renewing finish on existing wood floors.
