Extended Information:
Surface Preparation & Application • Use a wire brush, chisel, or similar tool to remove all loose material, dust, dirt, oil and grease from the area to be repaired. Use a solvent to remove oil and grease. Rough up the surface one or two inches beyond the area to be repaired for a good bond. Dampen the area with clean water – DO NOT FLOOD. • Apply concrete patch exactly as it comes from
the container with a flexible putty knife, broad knife, or trowel. Smooth and feather edge. • If area to be patched is deeper than 1/2 inch, apply patch in 1/4-inch layers, maximum depth 1 inch, allowing each application to dry. • If used as a “glue,” apply at least 1layer of concrete patch to both surfaces to be repaired. Push together. Be sure at least 1 inch of patch remains between the surfaces for proper bonding. For extra adhesion in heavy traffic area, prime area to be patched with DAP®Bonding Liquid. • Patched areas may be painted with a quality latex pain t if desired (after product has achieved full cure in approximately 28 days, preferably primed with a exterior latex primer). If material settles in container, mix thoroughly before use. If material is still too stiff, add a small amountof water (up to 4 teaspoons) and mix thoroughly. Drying time: 2 to 4 hours, longer if humidity is high. Allow to dry overnight before driving over patched area. Do not apply if rain is likely within drying period or if temperature is apt to drop below 40°F Storage:
Keep from freezing. Close container tightly after each use. Shelf Life:
1 year Temperatures:
Apply in temperatures greater than 40°F Clean Up: Clean hands and tools with soap and water. Dry material must be chiseled or scraped away.
