Rust-Oleum High Performance 7400 System Red Damp Proof Primer stops rust in its tracks. This specially modified alkyd formula can be applied directly to rusted steel to stop rust and prevent further corrosion. For extreme rust-producing conditions. Penetrates down to the bare metal, driving out trapped air and moisture vs. trapping it in. Can be left exposed up to 1 year without top-coating. Top coat with 7400 or V7400 System DTM 450 VOC Alkyd Enamel.
