Use to patch and repair stained or damaged acoustic popcorn ceilings. Utilizing a new texture blend with lower pressure propellant, this aerosol popcorn ceiling texture provides greater spray control, less chip bounce, longer spray time and more coverage than other acoustic “popcorn” textures. The Homax proprietary actuator also allows for easy vertical spraying of material that contains acoustic chips.

Instructions:
Homax Popcorn Ceiling Texture is designed for repairing popcorn ceiling textures or applying new texture to your ceiling. After making any necessary wall repairs, just spray on texture, allow to dry and paint if necessary to blend with surrounding surface.

IMPORTANT: This aerosol can discharges material very rapidly. Follow instructions carefully for proper results. DO NOT spray sideways or upside down. Eye protection recommended.

WARM CAN TO ROOM TEMPERATURE BEFORE USE. Prep surface properly before applying. Use putty knife to scrape away stained or damaged texture. Apply white primer/sealer before applying.

Protect carpet, furniture and entire area from overspray.
TIP: Pin up a plastic drape or hold a box around patch area to contain overspray.
Shake can vigorously for one minute until mixing ball rattles. Screw nozzle onto valve stem.
Place fingers on each side of spray nozzle and hold approximately 9 to 14” from ceiling.
TO SPRAY: Pull spray nozzle completely down in short bursts while sweeping spray across surface.

TIPS:

Apply generously around patch, feathering spray into existing texture.

Do not apply too heavily or texture will sag.

For a heavier “chip” texture, apply multiple thin coats, allowing texture to dry slightly between applications.

If painting over texture is desired, allow to dry for 24 hours before painting.

Clean up with warm water.

Covers approximately 6 sq. ft.
