Formulated to be a pre-stain sealer during the staining process. Also commonly referred to as a wood conditioner, our stain controller will control blotchiness in soft woods such as fir, pine or hemlock, allowing them to accept stains in an even manner for a more uniform appearance. Excellent for projects where soft woods and hardwoods are being stained together. For interior use.

Enables uniform stain application on soft woods, such as fir, pine, or hemlock. Using this product helps to avoid the appearance of uneven, blotchy staining. This VOC-compliant formula is for Ozone Transport Commission (OTC) states and the South Coast Air Quality Management District. This formula may be open for a longer amount of time before stain must be applied.
